Threading vs Waxing which one comes out on top?
There is one thing that i hate the most that is my eyebrows, they have always been big and bushy and horrible to control or tame! Ive always had a problem with my eyebrows no matter what they just seem to grow.
I first had my eyebrows waxed when i was 11 or 12 (i think) my mum and auntie tried to freak me out saying that it really hurts and they strap you down to the bed. I didn't fall for it! Until i was 14 i would have my eyebrows waxed, then i found threading. It was my cousin who had hers done and got me on it (funnily enough she is the one that got me into my very dangerous make up obsession introducing me to the likes of Benefit and MAC).

 There is not a massive difference between the 2 visually apart from waxing leaves my eyebrows looking a little thicker than what threading gives me.
Now lets talk about the pain as we all know beauty is pain. Is it just me or does anyone else really enjoy the feeling of hot wax (just me?) and the actual process of waxing doesn't really hurt, i find it the less painful one of the 2. Threading is more on the painful side i mean its not oh my god I'm going to die pain its just a tad more painful and it always makes my ears pop for some strange reason. Threading can remove a whole row of hair at one time resulting in a straight line making it more painful. Threading removes the hair from the follicle where as waxing removes the hair from the root.
I always find that threading last longer than waxing. With threading i can go for a few weeks without having to pluck little strays or go back again but with waxing i usually notice regrowth quite quickly!
If you have it done often then both only take a few minutes.
For me i think threading wins i like the overall look better and it lasts longer!

Coke or Pepsi? That's an easy one coke. Oh and i can tell the difference between the 2... there is so a difference isn't there?

Ice cream or Frozen yogurt? Ive never had frozen yogurt so will have to go with ice cream.

Clothes or Makeup? AGGH that's a tough one erm i think if i had really good eyebrows good skin and a tan i could maybe go without makeup but that's a maybe!

TV or book? I love books but i love TV even more

Water or Soda? I'm much more of a water girl now

Pool or beach? Beach I'm always happy when I'm in a hot country and sitting on the beach

Purse or backpack? Purse

Harry Potter or Twilight? That's so easy Harry potter kicks twilight's ass and truth be told I'm not much of a twilight fan Ive only seen the first 2

Team Jacob or Team Edward? Hmmm i would have to go with Edward but Jacob is way fitter.

Mall or online shopping? I love doing both its very dangerous really!

MAC or Maybelline? MAC

NOTD: Facets of Fuchsia

So I'm currently jamming to Coldplay Paradise, I'm not much of a Coldplay fan but i love that song!! I thought I'd show you guys my nails, i took a hiatus from painting them and just let them be natural but now I'm back in the mood. I'm currently wearing Facets of Fuchsia by Revlon I just love the look it gives. I tried to capture the best angle to really show them off but if you follow me on twitter you would know that i failed at doing that and as i sit here writing this it has just occurred to me to use my camera... Oh well. This is the kinda outcome you get when using your i phone to capture pics.....

Pretty bad i know but hopefully you will be able to tell what the polish looks like, its very much a deep purple with i don't want to say glitter but what looks like glitter (bet that was helpful)
You do have to apply 2 or more coats as when you you apply the first you will think what the funk this looks nothing like the bottle but once as you apply the 2nd coat you will be like oh yeah!

Hello

I'm back!! I hope!! The last time i posted was in November... eek how bad am i *slaps wrist* Ive been going through so things lately and just needed to take some time and try to work through things. The good news is that I'm now on Christmas break which will hopefully result in regular posts for you guys!
10 sleeps to go.. This year i am really excited about Christmas I really know when its christmas is when i see the coke christms advert this year it seemed like it was on super early.
Here are some of my family christmas traditions: When me and my brother were younger we would always say that we would never fight to get more presents. Another thing is that my mum always makes trifle and the last one is that whoever wakes up first me or my brother we would wake each other, one time my brother woke me up at 3 in the morning!

Britney Spears Femme Fatale

I was doing so well i don't know what happened! Well actually I do I'm just lazy! 8 days ago i went watching Britney Spears in Manchester and OMG it was the best night of my life i don't even care if she was miming she puts on such a good show! There were only 2 problems: 1. My friend fainted half way through the show. 2. My camera stopped working during the show! Luckily we were standing at the front so she got help straight away and was fine afterwards (oh btw if you book standing tickets be prepared to stand fro a long time if u were heels and the only way to get the best view is to push your way to the front). If you have a Nikon camera (mines the coolplix s3100) you might understand my frustration when of all a sudden it popped up 'battery exhausted'. Now its not even turning on 8 days later. I did manage to get a few shots before it decided to go on a break. If you were lucky enough to go to the Manchester showing you also got to watch The Wanted which were also amazing. They sang i think 5 songs which were: All time low, heart vacancy, gold forever, lightning and glad you came! Words cant describe how good that night was so I'm going to leave you with a few pics of the night.

Yesterday i tweeted about OPI's The muppet collection and today i got my hands on 4 of the polishes and some other things!

My current shampoo and conditioner is colour goddess, its suppose to prevent premature fading and i have to say it does do that. I got my colour done at the start of August and i have only just noticed that is needs doing again so i think in that department it does a good job. The shampoo is also sulfate free and also helps prevent against UV damage! With all bed head hair products they smell so good, which we all want our hair to smell good dont we?

More hair products... i think you can tell that my favourite hair brand is Tigi my newest additions are the catwalk collection which is inspired by fashion designed by hairdressers. I havent tried those 2 products before so if you want a review on them let me know. I got 2 for the price of 1 when i bought the box, i was originally going to get just the haute iron spray (the larger one of the 2) which is £9.95 then i spotted this and it came with the blow out balm also. So these are my final products i got 4 from the muppets collection. On the left is Pepe's purple passion and Divine swine, on the right is Animal-istic and Gettin miss piggy with it. I am super excitied to try these out. Normally OPI nail polishes or nail lacquer are £10.50 each at Alan howards they are £4.75.... yes i typed that right. What a huge saving! For these 2 sets they were £9.15.. yes for 2 full size polishes and toe separators.

Lately i have been loving nail polishes especially OPI which is dangerous because i want everyone i see and thats no good on the bank balance! Im not sure if these have been released yet in America i read that they are being released November 23rd but they are available on www.lenawhite.co.uk  Im just loving this collection and guess what i want everyone and im really loving the glitter polishes and im not normally a huge fan of glitter! Its going to be hard to just pick a few as the way my mum sees it is that you dont need all those but my response is yes i do but considering i want the Kardashian Kollection i should really just pick a few ;). The one that i have to get is Gettin' Miss Piggy with it as me and my dad call each other piggy (I honestly dont know how it got started). I forgot how much i love this colour Russian Navy by OPI. In certain angles it can come off black but as it looks in the picture it comes off a deep blue/purple shade. Im getting back into doing my nails again as for a long time i left them natural due to sheer laziness. What are your favourite fall colours??

Broken record!

The last time i posted was early September and now its October.... WHAT??!! How crazy is that time is flying (no complaints from me)! Also what is going on with UK weather most of last week was lovely and hot and now in the north its raining how nice! So im going from wearing my summer clothes back into my thermals haha! One day i will get an outfit post up soon i promise! I think Wednesday is the day that i will get things done as it's the day where i only have 2 lessons and finish at 12.50 oh i do love that day!! Tuesdays and Thursdays i hate i have a full day with no free lessons! Only 3 weeks until i get a week break.... Im counting down the days. Oh and its little over a month until Britney Spears comes to Manchester im so excited! Right now i have to get my performance studies essay over with why did i leave it to the day before.. my justification.. we were only given it on Thursday ;) XOXO

I suck!

I do right? I said i would start posting my college outfits and i haven't..... what a suprise! The truth i just havent found the time to take pictures, as the best time would be in the morning but i dont have the time before i leave and if i took them after i got back well you wouldnt want to see what my hair looks like with the rain and the wind we have been having... I dont know why bother doing my hair in the morning as i leave the house with straight and as i hit college i end up with flicky out bits and if you know me i like my hair poker straight so i hate it!!!
Enough with the excuses Lauren!
So how am i finding college so far i hear you ask, well i will tell you,
I was very nervous on the first day, i was more nervous about not making any friends but i have so i dont know what i worrying for. Im so far loving all my lessons and my timetable i have some free lessons which are great but not at the moment as i have nothing to do with only just starting! What else... I havent got used to getting up so early and it's really taking it out of me so i cant wait for the weekend to sleep and to watch F1. Which brings me to my next point im gutted i wont be able to FP1 and FP2 tomorrow little know fact i havent missed any free practice this year so im not pleased that im missing it tomorrow =(.

A little ramble

I seem to be doing a lot of these lately?! Sorry for being no on this posting every day, I'm pleased to inform you that I'm now a college student and my induction day is Monday and I'm only in the morning so will for sure let you know how it all went!

Lets talk about Big brother, at first when i heard it was coming back i was like 'its not going to be the same without Davina' and its not! However I'm still enjoying it all the same! I do still think its on channel 4 when its actually on channel 5... DUH Lauren! What do you guys think of the housemates? Jedward have grown on me although last night when they were being punks it went a little far. Amy is another one that has grown on me but I'm still on the fence, I love Kerry i think she is being herself and i was crying yesterday when she got to speak to her daughter on her b'day. Now let me talk about Kerry and Lucien what is actually going on? Now I'm loving whatever is going on between them even if it is just flirting, you can see there is chemistry! Lucien is just eye candy! Bobby i find him to be stuck up his ass, Tara seems to be really paranoid and i cant take Darryn seriously with whatever is on his chest! Who do you think will go tonight or who do you want to go??
Oh I've got to have glasses as i am short sighted but that's okie as i actually like wearing glasses as i suit them!!
Make up purchases being made tomorrow so look out for posts coming up on them in the next week or so.

Im back!!

Hey guys!!! I dont know if i told you in my last post (probably not) but i have just come back from my holiday in Tenerife!! I really needed that after the first part of the year i had. It was super hot in Tenerife and i couldnt ask for more, ofcourse i returned to a cold and raining England (well where i live anyway)! I just thought i would check in to say hi and that i havent left you. So tomorrow (Thursday 25th) i go to school to pick up my GCSE results and lets just say im more than a little bit nervous especially after having 3 months off school this year so im hoping that i have done well despite everything and it would mean soo much more to me as i had to work soo much harder to catch up in the space of 2 week when i returned before the final exams started!! Then on Friday i go enrolling in college which im super excited about as im entering a new chapter in my life, so expect OOTD and if yo guys want post about college!! So there is only 2 weeks left of my summer which blows a bit but im excited to start college so it doesnt really bother me!! Hope you guys have had a great summer let me know what you have been up to!! Oh and to everyone gettting their results tomorrow hope you get what you want!!!!

Now for the post Kim Kardashian has 2 perfumes but she launched her first one over here in the UK in June. I popped into Debenhams last week and spotted Kim Kardashian's perfum and had to get it because if you know anything about me I love the Kardashians!! Of course i sprayed the tester all over me and it smelt really good it has become my favourtie perfume i have nver got so many comment on the way i smell all asking what i was wearing. Now im useless at describing scents so i will tell you what the people who do describe scents say: 'A beautiful blend of feminine and sensual notes, the debut fragrance captures the many sides of Kim's personality and glamorous style. Lazy Saturday

Today i had a very lazy saturday i watched scooby doo 1 and 2. I love this movie it reminds me of when i was in hospital and it made me feel better for a bit! I mean how can you not love Scooby doo and the gang, ofcourse my favourite is Daphne who is yours? I also watched total wipeout, now do you know if you can go to the course and just do it for fun or do you have to be a contestant for the show?? Hmmm i wonder??? I would love to do it, all my family think i would never do it because im a girly girl and dont like getting dirty but i would love to do the total wipeout course!! Now im currently watching Harry Potter and the philosphers stone, i think this has to be my favourite movie out of the series, there all so young and i dont know what it is but there is just something about the first one. Talk about a lazy saturday all's i have done is watch movies its not been a very productive day but then again i dont have anything to do!! Got to go now have to make my way to platform 9 and 3/4 until next time..

I wondered what i would call this particular blog post and what i would actually write in it...
I like reading a blog or watching someone on youtube and feeling like you know them because they share things with you, whilst this blog is fairly new i thought i'd just ramble about me for a while (wow does that sound really obnoxious?!) so that you guys can get to know me and hopefully you will like me! Its Britney bitch

I honestly cant believe how excited i am to say that i am going watching Britney Spears on her Femme Fatale tour when it comes to the UK!!!! I was hoping and praying that she would come over to the UK and my prayers have been answered, its going to be a night to remember!!! I just wish November 6th was closer than what it is!! Are any of you guys going???
